A CREATIVE IMMERSION

October 3 to 10, 2026
8 days – 7 nights

Italy opens its doors to us—through Florence, Prato, Pisa, and the landscapes of Tuscany. We will walk through cities that have woven beauty for centuries.

This experience goes beyond tourism; it is encounter, creation, and memory.

For eight days, we will breathe in Renaissance art, wandering streets where new worlds were born. We will learn from master hands in studios, foundations, and textile workshops that preserve the living pulse of tradition. We will create with silk, pigments and fibers, allowing the material itself to speak to us.

We will immerse ourselves in the Tuscan essence—its cuisine, its thermal waters, its rhythm. We will share tables, inspiration, and art, leaving space for contemplation and enjoyment.

We do not come merely to observe Italy; we come to dialogue with its essence and to experience it fully. This route is for those who seek to be nourished, transformed, and to create. This route is a calling.

BARGELLO WORKSHOP

FONDAZIONE ARTE SETA LISIO

Bargello is a historic Florentine embroidery technique, also known as flame stitch. It is worked using upright flat stitches over counted threads, creating rhythmic geometric patterns that evoke movement, depth, and vibration. Its origins date back to Florence in the 16th–17th centuries, where it was used in decorative textiles and furnishings, becoming a symbol of the city’s textile tradition.

At the Fondazione Arte della Seta Lisio, one of the most important living centers of Florentine textile heritage, we will take part in a hands-on Bargello embroidery workshop. The foundation is dedicated to the preservation and transmission of historic silk and embroidery techniques, working with traditional materials, methods, and knowledge passed down through generations.

The workshop will combine practical embroidery with an introduction to the historical and aesthetic foundations of the technique, offering a direct and sensitive experience of Florence’s textile tradition.

SILK PRINTING

LOTTOZERO TEXTILE LABORATORIES

Silk printing is a contemporary textile technique that explores pattern, color, and surface through direct engagement with silk. By working with printing processes that balance traditional textile knowledge and innovative approaches, participants are invited to understand silk not only as a support, but as an active material. Its fluidity, luminosity, and sensitivity to pigment and gesture play a key role in shaping each visual outcome.

The workshop will take place at Lottozero, an international research and production hub dedicated to textile innovation and artistic exchange.

Known for supporting designers, artists, and researchers from around the world, Lottozero cultivates an environment where experimentation, material research, and critical thinking are central to the creative process.

Within this context, participants will engage in a hands-on silk printing workshop, working directly on silk through guided experimentation. The experience encourages material exploration and process-based learning, offering tools to expand visual language, deepen understanding of textile techniques, and approach silk as a medium for thoughtful, contemporary expression.
