AMAZON, COLOMBIA

Ancestral Journey

March 22 to 30, 2025
9 days – 8 nights

The Amazon is a world apart, where life unfolds in ways that challenge our understanding. The indigenous communities that inhabit this territory contribute an unparalleled ethnic and cultural diversity. Immersing oneself in their rituals, traditions, and ways of life is to enter a unique universe that reflects the true charm of the region.

This astonishing habitat harbors an unmatched wealth of flora and fauna, enriched by the waters of the majestic Amazon River, a source of life and culture for the surrounding populations. Local handicrafts, made from native materials such as seeds, feathers, and tree bark, bear the identity of each ethnic group, showcasing the diversity and creativity that flourish in the tropical rainforest. “Sculpting the Amazon” is more than just a retreat; it is a journey of reconnection with nature and with our own roots. Through interaction with three indigenous communities, we will explore ancient weaving and fiber techniques, reinterpreting them alongside the talented textile artist Regina Dejimenez. Join us on this sculpting journey and discover the very essence of the Amazon.
