AMAZON, COLOMBIA

Ancestral Journey

March 14 to 22, 2025
9 days – 8 nights

Color Selva: The Jungle Lives Within Us
In this experience, we’ll journey into the beating heart of the Colombian Amazon to live a truly transformative adventure. Throughout this retreat, we’ll walk alongside two Indigenous communities, the Yaguas and the Ticunas, who will generously share with us their ancestral wisdom, their profound connection with the jungle, and their unique way of reading the
world through the land, the trees, the plants, the colors, and the silence. Pure medicine.

We will immerse ourselves in the jungle with all our senses — learning to recognize, gather, and transform fibers from leaves, barks, and other living materials the forest offers us.

From the United States, we are joined by special guest Atenas Morales, an expert in natural dyes and botanical study. Together with the Yaguas and Ticunas communities, she will guide us in creating a unique color palette born from the hidden pigments of the deep jungle.

This is not just an experience.
It is a call from the jungle.
An invitation to remember that we, too, are root, color, and weave.

The jungle lives within us.

Special Guest
Atenas Morales

Atenas Morales is a textile artist who transforms leaves, flowers, and natural pigments into living artworks on fabric. Specializing in ecoprinting and natural dyes, her work reveals the hidden imprints of nature and celebrates its visual poetry. Beyond these techniques, she explores various dyeing processes, always with a sustainable and creative approach that invites us to rediscover the connection between art, color, and nature.
